AppleJack Moose Roast

Have you ever had AppleJack Moose Roast? Its a sweet treat and the leftovers are great for Mongolian Moose or Moose Stir Fry or Moose Nachos as the meat just falls apart. I learned awhile ago that the combination of apples and onions will tenderize any meat. Try this marinade out.
Load your roast into a gallon size plastic ziplock with the sauce and refrigerate for 4-8 hours depending on size then grill that roast on the bbq. At the last minute grill up some zucchini and pineapple or pears this is best cooked medium or medium well. You will love it.
You can also grill in your oven or cut up meat into skewer size but only after you marinade. If you do so before the little pieces of meat will be to mushy to enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2  cups apple cider
  • 1 cup jack daniels
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 minced cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 1 onion cut into rings or slices you

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
